Connie Nixon Newland

Connie worked at Michael’s Corporate Office doing Data Entry for 20 years and she retired in 2005. She loved to fish, go shopping and spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was very proud of her Choctaw Indian Heritage.

She loved her dog Abby, who she rescued 2 years ago. They were both meant for each other

Connie was preceded in death by Bill and Lillian Ogle, James Ogle, Pat Ogle, and Sue Grimsley.

She is survived by her son Charles Nixon and wife Pat Nixon of Lucas, TX. Sisters Jimmie Tripp and Husband Ricky of The Woodlands, TX., Deborah McAlister of Irving, TX, and Jackie Figg and Husband Larry of Louisville, KY. Three Grandchildren Ross Ingle, Chris Nixon and Ashley Anderson and Six Great Grandchildren as well as numerous friends.

The Family will receive friends for a visitation from 10-11 a.m. at Ted Dickey Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Ted Dickey Funeral Home.
