Gladys was born on July 17, 1903 in Preble County, Ohio, a daughter of Garrett Asberry and Hattie Jane (Daugherty) Hill.
She married Frederick Morris Steadman in the year 1921 in New Paris, Ohio.
He preceded her in death in May of 1981.
A private family service has been held at Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Custer Road United Methodist Church in Plano.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children at www.shrinershospitalforchildren.org.
Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano, Texas has charge of arrangements.
