I worked with Jay for 17 year at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Jay was one of those guys you loved to be around. His smile and laugh were contagious. This is so hard to believe. Someone who was so full of life is gone at such a young age.

I will miss your your smiling face Jay.  His sayings were always his way of making you feel loved. (Hey Trouble,  Looky here and What's up killaaaa! And lastly "Don't tell Michele) We will always love you!

I knew Jay as a colleague at DFW Airport. No matter what the task he brought a smile and humor and was willing to help.  I have no idea how we came up with nick names for each other…”Johnny T Slick” for me and “Jay-Low” for him. 
I hope knowing how much he was liked and respected not just as a colleague, but as a person will bring a little extra comfort and smiles in the coming days. 

Harlow!!!!!  No truer friend...no worst enemy.  Not many people would be willing to give their life for their friends.  That was Harlow.  Larger than life.  Lived life to the fullest.  Not many Marines that I have served w/throughout my 23 years am I still in touch with.  Harlow was 1 of those Marines.  He had my back more times than I can count.  A true friend forever.  Left footprints 👣 on my heart.  He loved his friends.  He loved his family.  He loved life.  I am saddened.  I will cherish our friendship & memories forever!!!  Never forgotten.  Until we meet again!!

Although I only met Jay when he was 6 or 7 years old, my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Jay and I worked together at DFW for 20 years. I will always remember Jay for his kind heart and of course his laugh. He was always willing to offer a hand or answer a question …at any time of night. He will be missed.  Oooorah!

Jay was a special angel.He was a wonderful son-in-law. pawpaw  dad.He loved his family and friends.will always hold in our hearts You give Michele such pure love her memories  will help. Jay was definitely one of a kind!  He was loved by sooo many and he will be missed greatly!  I knew Jay for about 10 years as we worked together on many DFW Airport projects.  I absolutely loved spending time with Jay and he always made me laugh!   His personality was genuine and his love for life was incredible!   We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers...

Wishing you comfort and peace during this difficult time.  Jay is an original, he never pretended to be anyone other than who he really was.  He had a spark for life that was noticeable any time he was around.  I'll always be grateful for the many memories of Jay.  

My favorite Jay story was the one he would share about being hit in the head with a 'Sidewinder' missile while on deployment.  He had the scar to prove it too!  Yes, just a great guy that loved his family and friends.

For all my fb friends and family that knew Jay Harlow , his family is asking for us to post memories on his obituary page, for his service... And if you knew Jay, I'm sure you've got a ton of good ones. When I was 15,My mom worked with Jen from his first marriage. They we're waiting on their apartment to open up. Jay and Jen stayed with us while they waited for it to get ready.The first thing out of Jay when I came home from school was, "I'm your Uncle Jay". Little did I know, the impact this guy would have on my life.He became more of an older brother to me,than an uncle. He kept me out of trouble and even covered for me a time or two.. 😂 One of my favorite memories,one was the day he took me and one of my high school friends to meet Danzig. He stood in line with us for 6 hours so we could get autographs and pictures. He got Larry Seebeck and Sherry Leafty Tedford  son Justin to eat spinach,by convincing him he was Popeye. 😂He taught me that even when you're not happy with someone,you can still show them love and still be decent. He didn't like for any one to be at odds with one another, although those things do happen.  Just be cool, he'd say. I can still hear his laugh and him saying RIGHT,RIGHT when we'd talk. He was a goofball and always made us laugh. He loved his wife Michele Harlow ,all of his boys Jared Harlow , Jacob Harlow , Georgie and all the others. These memories are just a drop in the bucket. I will greatly miss him. I wish he could have made it to Scarborough or even a Halloween party. But, I'm thankful for what time God allowed him in our lives. Miss you bro, and we'll see each other sooner than we realize. This life of ours is so incredibly short, no matter the age❤️


Our trip to New Orleans was memorable to say the least.  One evening the young ones went out on the town . They arrive back to the house in the early morning hours and tried to walk upstairs quietly so they wouldn’t wake us.  But not Jay! He decided to run up the stairs which sounded like a herd of elephants and laughed all the way.  Well, we woke  up , but pay back came in the morning when Jay was trying to sleep. One thing for sure,  when Jay was around the party and fun started.  Jay never knew a stranger.  His heart just oozed with love and compassion towards everyone he knew.  Jay will be greatly missed💔

Jay Harlow was just an awesome guy in every way. My family is praying for his family.

Thank you for you. Your laughter and smile will forever be in my heart.  In the short time we had together I have a lifetime of memories.  The road trips, times at the lake and regular get togethers will never be forgotten and you had such a gift to treat everyone as close as family.  For me you were a true brother and a blessing.
