Jimmy Hendrick was born on July 6, 1926, in Hollis, Oklahoma, to Allen and Thelma Hendrick. Jim served his country proudly as a member of the merchant marines. After leaving the service, Jim became a banker, working in banks in Oklahoma and Texas. In 1948 in Hereford, Texas, he married Lillye London. Two sons, Jamie and Justin Hendrick, were born of their union. Jim sadly lost Lillye after 24 years of marriage. Jim was blessed to find a new wife and four more children when he married Wilma Camp in 1974, and they joined him in Purcell, Oklahoma. Jim was the best step-father that Keith, Mark, Michelle, and April Camp could have hoped for. Jim and the family moved to Texas in 1981, and he continued in banking until his retirement in 1995. Jim was a godly husband to Wilma for 38 years. Jim was a faithful Christian and loved serving the Lord above all else. He also loved to play golf whenever he could get a chance, and his favorite golf partners were his sons, grandsons, and brothers in Christ. Jim leaves behind his loving wife, Wilma; as well as two sons, Jamie and Justin Hendrick. Jim also leaves behind his two steps-sons, Keith and Mark Camp; as well as his two step-daughters, Michelle Selgas and April Zannone; and his fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whom he adored. Jim will be greatly missed by a host of friends and family.
