John Frederick Duncan II was born in Bedford, Indiana on June 30, 1938. John was the son of John Frederick and Anna Mae Duncan. John spent his working life as a member of the United States Air Force. He was a Major in the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. John was 2nd bomb wing, and they flew the last mission over Vietnam, officially ending the war. John enjoyed most things electronic and enjoyed tinkering with things. Most people knew of John as the frog man as he collected any and all things frog, from little frog knick knacks up to his frog outfit. John was a member the Masonic Lodge in Shreveport and John was also a member of the El Karubah Shriners in Louisiana. John is survived by his daughter Paula Duncan, his son Gary Duncan, step son Tracey Brown Jr., and his step daughter Cheri Cummings. John is also survived by his grandchildren: Lauren Nicole Manley, Bud Wilkins, and Savannah Cummings. Services for John Duncan will be held at Hill Crest Memorial 601 US Highway 80 East, Haughton LA 71037 on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 2:00PM.
