Julia Scott Dodge

Scottie was born February 25th 1939 in Memphis TN to Dorothy and Frederick Beck. She also lived in Louisville KY, Evansville IN, Richardson TX and Plano TX.Scottie attended Eastern High School and the University of Louisville in Louisville KY. She was a member of the Unity Church of Dallas.

Scottie was preceded in death by the love of her life Lee H. Dodge.

She is survived by her loving sister Marciah McCartney, sons Lee II and Doug, their wives Dena and Karen, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.Scottie was always thinking of others before herself.

She was always curious, always learning and always active. She loved tennis, reading, creating art, dancing and laughing.

To everyone she knew, she was a joy to be with.

She and Lee cherished their visits to Hawaii and family summer vacations in North Carolina with Dorothy and Fred.

Scottie was an animal lover for life and was never without at least one dog, most recently their beloved Shih Tzu’s Poki and Nani.

A memorial service was held February 8th at the Unity Church of Sachse in Sachse TX.
