Linda married Eric Bowerman, and together they had two sons – Blaine and Ethan. They lived in Rhodesia until 1983 when they moved to South Africa. Later in 1994, they were able to rejoin her family in the United States of America. There she worked as an office manager and administrative assistant at various companies making numerous friends along the way.
Linda had many things she was passionate about, most of all being her family. She was willing to move to any corner of the world, so long as she could be with the ones she loved.
She enjoyed baking and cooking, whether it was for an event, or a family gathering, you could bet there was a line for her food that she made with love.
She was a well skilled English horse rider in dressage and jumping. This began a life-long love of horses.
She learned to make porcelain dolls from her mother-in-law. She sold some when living in Africa, kept some, and gave some as gifts.
She loved babies, especially newborns. She took great delight in knitting tiny baby clothes to give as gifts to the new parents.
Linda was a loving Mother and Grandmother, who delighted in being around her children and grandchildren – blood related or not.
Throughout the years, she battled breast cancer, diabetes and kidney failure - believing that she lived on God’s time she lived by her terms. Linda went home to be with the Lord on July 19th 2020. She was a blessing in many people’s lives, is dearly loved and will be missed. There is peace found in knowing that we will meet again in the presence of God.
