Lynda Lou Crane (Kennedy)

She was born to Jack and Juanita Kennedy on July 20, 1939, in DeKalb, Texas.

Lynda was raised in DeKalb, Texas, and graduated from DeKalb High School in 1957. She married Bob Crane in 1958 and they had 3 children. Lynda was a stay-at-home mom and homemaker, who periodically took on part-time jobs to help the family income.

Lynda enjoyed sewing, gardening, Bible study and memorization, and spending time with her treasured family. Her family and friends will always remember her as a woman who loved and prayed for her family, and a woman who loved Jesus with her whole heart.

Lynda is preceded in death by her husband, Bob, both of her parents and nine brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son Randy; her daughter Sandy and her husband Glenn; her daughter, Dawn, and husband, Rocky; 6 grandchildren and their spouses; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Jamie Kennedy and wife Sally; sister Sue Shafer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 10AM-11AM at Meadows Baptist Church, 3001 Los Rios Blvd, Plano, TX 75074 where a Funeral Service will begin at 11AM. Burial will ensue in the Lakeview Cemetery. 2343 Lake Rd, Lavon, TX 75166.
