Mark was an U.S. Army Retiree. He served on the battle field in World War 2 and was on active duty during the Korean and Viet Nam wars. Mark was awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Distinguished Unit Citation for his efforts from D-Day + 1 through the Battle of the Bulge. He's survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lucy Griffin, and his son, Richard Griffin.
Mark loved his family and friends with all his heart. This true american hero will be missed.
