Nancy Ann Rule was born on December 30, 1948 in Crawford County, Ohio to Ivan and Nola Rule. Nancy grew up and took catechism in Ohio to join the Methodist Church. Nancy and her family moved to Texas in 1964. She graduated from Palestine High School in 1966. Once Nancy graduated she attended Henderson County Junior College. Nancy worked and volunteered for the American Diabetes Association and even became the Volunteer of the Year. Nancy worked extensively with the DAB and she was also a member of the White Rock Lions Club in Dallas. Nancy was the District 2 x 1 Lion of the Year from 2004 - 2005. Nancy was preceded in death by her father Ivan and her brother Eddy and she is survived by her mother Nola. A service will be held at Ted Dickey Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 10 AM. There will be a graveside service at Edom Cemetery at 2 pm with a visitation the night before from 5-7 a Ted Dickey Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Diabetes Association.
