Nicholas L. Hart was born in North Florida and moved to Orlando when his father opened a veterinary practice in Maitland. He grew up in Orlando, Florida, with his parents, Dr. Clifton and Evelyn Hart. Nick got his Bachelor’s at the University of South Florida and his Master’s of Science at the University of North Texas. He met his wife Tami playing frisbee in Florida. They fell in love and got married in 1993 at a beautiful ceremony in Dallas, Texas. Together, the two were a dynamic duo who were deeply involved in their community. They resided in Plano and were blessed with two daughters, Riana Pellicane-Hart and Kiara Pellicane-Hart. For the majority of his 30-year career, Nick worked in cybersecurity and data management. He was dedicated to his work and always went above and beyond. He was a man of honor and integrity who always stood up and did what was right. In addition to being a frisbee champion, Nick was also an avid cook who made sure our family and community always had a delicious, homemade meal or fresh slice of Key Lime or Pecan Pie. It is said his cooking has caused grown men to go weak in the knees. Nick always volunteered to help others and his empathy and compassion for our community will be deeply missed. Nick is survived by his wife, two daughters, and four slightly domesticated cats. Nick will be missed dearly by his family and all those who knew him.
Please contact his daughter, Riana Pellicane-Hart (214-315-3131) with any questions. Any flowers or cards can be sent to Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th St. in Plano, Texas 75074.
