Nick and I lived in zeta dorm together at USF in 1973. He was a guy who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. He seemed to always have something going on of a positive nature, and this endeared him to any and all who met him.  He turned me on to the Firesign Theater when he would play their albums and he also performed their acts live at USF.  
He started the Frisbee club and certified all of us who went on to play Ultimate at USF. I remember the day he received the package in the mail with the rules of Ultimate and how to play. Our excitement couldn't be contained! Best sport ever! 
We walked through campus laying out the golf course all through the buildings and played all the time.
I'm sure his family are as kind and loving as their Dad/Husband.
He's always in my heart, especially when I'm throwing a disc anywhere in the world.

I am very sorry to hear of Nick’s passing. I respected him greatly for his demeanor, humor, intellect and work ethic.  We worked together creating the North Florida Ultimate League in the late 70s and early 80s and planned many tournaments when I played for the University of Florida ultimate team which I founded with others. I was able to watch most of the service and very much appreciated hearing all the stories from Tami, the daughters and others. I’m not surprised how well the girls were raised. I know Nick had to be very proud of them. Tami, I didn’t even know the two of you had married, but was so glad to hear you had such a great marriage and life together. I worked with Nick for the last nine+ years at Cardinal, he was a great team member and leader. His humor and random facts could be expected at every meeting with Nick. He could always be counted on at work and always a pleasure to work with. He often mentioned his daughters and know he cared for his family very much. Nick will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege of working with Nick over many years at Cardinal Health. As others have mentioned, you never seemed to have a "meeting" with Nick, you'd have a "conversation".  Always on-point with the information needed for a particular project or task, but the chat never ended without a joke, anecdote, or just a simple "call if you need me." 

Nick was my Leadership mentor for the past year. While he provided many useful resources, a good bit of what he shared wasn't from a book or website... it was directly from his experience, his knowledge... his heart. Nick truly and sincerely engaged at every opportunity, and will be fondly remembered.

In another place and time, Nick Hart was a founding member of a weird little group of frisbee players that formed in Gainesville, FL, and ventured out to the 1985 US Open Frisbee tournament- Team Banzai. Born of a love of the flying disc and a shared viewing of a strange movie. Nick Hart, Tami Pellicane (did we know of their secret back then?), Tony Pellicane, Tom Krajna, Amanda Carreiro, and yours truly. We played, we succeeded beyond expectation. Team Banzai lived on for several more events, and then mostly faded. I try to keep that spirit alive even now. I hadn't been in touch with Nick for many years, but our memories from those glorious frisbee days live with us still. I also toured with Nick, doing demos and frisbee shows. Visiting his family home in FL, and of course, sampling key lime pie in so many locations. I cannot express the level of sadness that hit all of us when receiving the news. My heart goes out to Tami and Nick's daughters. They got the very best of Nick, and there was so much that was the very best. One of the Team Banzai logos was some Japanese kanji that was translated by some of the competitors at our tournament. The kanji translated to this, a simple but maybe telling summing up of what Nick means to many of us - Beauty of Life.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Nick during our time at Cardinal Health. He was a truly remarkable individual, and it was always a privilege to collaborate with him. Whenever we had a critical initiative, Nick was the first person we wanted on the team. His exceptional work ethic, unwavering integrity, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with. My thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with you, your family, and Nick's dear friends during this difficult time.

I met Nick at the University of South Florida in roughly 1977. I was SO impressed with his kindness, intellect, and amazing skills with a Frisbee! He may not have invented Folf (Frisbee Golf), but I DO know he got an actual course added to USF's electives. No mall feat! I am now a full-time professor, and I have NOT been able to pull that off!

I am so sorry we lost touch: the fact that I have two sons (22 and 24) and he has two daughters makes me smile. Thanks to Nick, those sons know their way around high-quality discs and would always beat me at Folf or simply catching.

Nick always had the best smile and laugh and was among the very, very best people I have ever met. Never, ever said anything unkind about anyone. Ever. Wish the world had a few billion more Nicks.

Like everyone in the Frisbee Family, I was beyond saddened to hear about our friend and brother Nick. All our hearts are with Tami and the girls. 

We all loved Nick, and I can’t imagine how anyone couldn’t. Always positive, friendly, encouraging, brilliant, and humble — that’s the only way I remember him, starting from our first meetings in the ‘80’s. In 1990 I even got to be an honorary member of Team Banzai, teaming up with Nick and Harvey Brandt in the freestyle competition, which was nothing but fun. As someone recently said to me about Nick, “He was just the nicest guy.”  Agreed. 

After Nick and Tami moved to Texas, we got to see each other more often, but it was never often enough. Still, no matter how much time passed between meetings, there was never a missed beat. We all admired them both; we all are grateful for ANY time we had with Nick, and we all send our love to Tami, Riana, and Kiana. And Dee and I send our prayers for comfort and healing. May our friend and brother Nick rest in peace.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Nick. A request for a quick question always turned into a conversation where I wondered how did we get onto this topic due to his wealth of knowledge. He was always generous and gracious with his praise. My heart goes out to his family at this time.

I have had the pleasure to get to know Nick over the last several years at Cardinal Health Sonexus Access and Patient Support. What I will always cherish most about Nick is how he made time for people, genuinely getting to know them and making them feel valued. I loved hearing him talk about his daughters and their many achievements; his pride and love for his family was evident in every word he spoke. Nick had a rare gift for spreading warmth and connection, and he will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

I have had the great pleasure to work with and learn from Nick at Cardinal Health for 8 years and it deeply saddens me about his passing. Nick excelled at his work, always provided a laugh, knew the most interesting facts, and doted on his family any chance he got. In fact, whenever I pass Momentum Indoor Climbing in Katy, I always remember Nick marveling at his daughter's rock climbing abilities! Nick spoke fondly of his family often - clearly a proud husband and father. 

I recall many instances where Nick provided much needed wit or recounted some (obscure to me) facts about a book, movie, travel destination, or food. Most conversations had a learning opportunity that could likely win a trivia contest! Nick was also humble and also tried to learn something when he got the chance.

I am devastated he is gone too soon. He will be missed by so many. To all his family, cats, friends, and colleagues, you are in my prayers for peace, strength and love.

Very sad to hear of Nick’s passing, it was always a pleasure working and interacting with him.

I am devastated to hear of Nick’s passing.  I had the honor of working with Nick at Cardinal Health for around 7-8 yrs.  I don’t recall leaving a conversation with Nick without laughing at least once!  He just had a way of making people smile and lightening up a conversation.  I was also always impressed with how much he knew about everything!  Nick was kind, helpful, honest, respectful, knowledgeable and just the type of person that you enjoyed being around and working with.  Rest in peace, my dear friend.  And to his family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the privilege of working alongside Nick at Cardinal Health. Nick was a truly exceptional human professionally and personally. He handled all aspects of his life with the utmost integrity and I learned so much from knowing him. Hands down, my favorite aspect of Nick was his sense of humor. His jokes were always sharp, perfectly timed, hysterical, and occasionally off color (my personal favorite).  

To Nick's family, it was always clear you were his first priority. It was an honor to hear him speak of you.  Thank you for sharing him with us. We will keep his precious memory alive.

Nick and I worked closely together for 5 years at Cardinal.  Consummate professional.  If something needed to be done, Nick always volunteered.  If we asked Nick for help, he always said yes.  In matters of work he always had good instincts and good sense to focus on people and relationships.  He valued quick chats instead of email.  Quality and experience were his priorities.  You breathed easier knowing Nick was working on it.  Thanks for everything, Nick.

I did not know Nick directly, however I would like to extend my thoughts, prayers and condolences to your family during this time.

Nick will be greatly missed. He was a talented colleague and always sought the opportunity to share his quick wit and dry humor to make people laugh. I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Nick’s unexpected passing.  I had the pleasure of working with him at Cardinal Health. Every day his commitment to our patients, providers and operations team was evident and his contributions had a remarkable impact.

I first met Nick and Tami through our mutual interest in Frisbee.  It was the late 70's.  I don't remember the specifics of our first meeting but we were part of a growing Frisbee family.  We had many memorable get togethers through Frisbee events and gatherings through the years.  I cherish the memories and friendship we share.  My thoughts, prayers and sincerest condolences go out to Tami, Riana, Kiara, the Hart and Pellicane families and friends on the loss of Nick.  I know the heartache is tremendous right now but hopefully in time you will all appreciate the time you were allowed to share with him and joy will fill your hearts when you think of him and how fortunate you were to have known him as a husband, child, parent or friend.

Nick is one of a kind. I had the pleasure of working with him at Cardinal Health. Not only was Nick a wealth of knowledge but he did everything with absolute conviction. He was intentional with his work and in teaching anyone who was willing to learn. 

He never had a shortage of stories to share and loved talking about how proud of his daughters he was, both recently and stories of them as little girls. 

My heart breaks that I unknowingly said my last words to Nick. My heart is shattered for his wife, daughters and loved ones. For everyone that had the honor of knowing Nick, I pray for peace and comfort, while celebrating the incredible man, husband, and father Nick was.

I had the privilege of working with Nick over the last 5+ years at Cardinal Health and will miss him terribly.    As the Project Mgr he made my life easier every day and I will miss interacting with him.   He was a great story teller and never missed an opportunity to teach me something!   His shoes are too big to fill.   RIP Nick.
