Robert Bittner was a fortunate person, with a loving wife and children.

My daughters and I discovered Mr. Bittner's passing today, upon our visit to him today. I'm so sorry for your familys loss. I cared for him at Remington Medical Resort. He was a joy to see every morning I worked. He brought even more joy, not only to me but my 4yr old baby girl Ava. She and I looked forward to visits with him. We will always remember him. Especially this Christmas when we ate Christmas dinner with him at Victoria Garden that was the night we put up his tree. We will miss him dearly.

Robert Bittner:  I first met Bob in ’69 when I was fresh out of college and he was already a seasoned purchasing pro at Diamond Shamrock.  He helped me transition into the working world and set an excellent example on how one should  act in business and especially in one’s personal life.  A dedicated family man with a tremendous heart and work ethic.  What an example!  It was an honor to have known him and a privilege to have worked with him.

From Pittsburgh to Cleveland then Houston and Dallas..Diamond Shamrock and Occidental... Our families shared such richness and adventures..
Bob was devoted to his beloved "Patsy" and his wonderful family and found time to be a loyal friend to many.
Our family will treasure great memories of an everlasting friendship with Bob, Patsy, and family.
