

Rosemarie E. Chronister was born on August 6, 1956 in San Antonio, TX. Rosemarie was born to her Mother Charline and her Father Robert E. Chronister. After graduating high school, Rosemarie went on to join the Air Force and was stationed in the Philippines. After she was honorably discharged from the Air Force, Rosie went on to attend college. She worked at the Gage Hotel in Marathon, TX and graduated from Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Science. In the early nineties, Rosemarie was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and moved back to Plano to be close to her parents. She volunteered at First United Methodist Church in Plano and at the Harrington Library where she was recognized as volunteer of the month with her work for the literacy program. Rosemarie loved animals, reading, and doing her beadwork. Rosemarie passed away on March 26, 2017. Rosemarie is survived by her mother Charline, as well as her sister; Roberta Dancer, and her husband Don. Rosemarie also leaves behind her nieces Misty Groetken, and her husband Nick, and Kristi Weston, and her husband Shelby of Edmond, OK, as well as their children: Kayla and Grant Groetken and Kennedy, Cash, and Crue Weston. Rosemarie is also survived by her Uncle, Dr. Bert Chronister, and his wife Rochelle, of Neodesha, KS along with her cousins Pam Lewis and Philip Chronister. There will be a Memorial Service on Thursday, April 6h at 11 AM at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home on 18th Street in Plano with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (nationalmsociety.org).
