It showed in her fashion, accessories and shoes. Everything had to match. She dressed to the “nines” …. oh, trust and believe her hair and nails were on point as well.
Sandy may have been quiet in spirit, but she did not miss a beat. She knew everything that was going on around her. She spent many weekends with relatives and friends. After the gatherings were over, Sandy could tell you who came in the door, who left with whom and who said what…’nawh’ nothing got past Sandy.
Sandy's presence made family gatherings warmer and everyday life brighter. She enjoyed kids, especially her nephews. She would often text their pictures to family and friends even if it was (4:00 am) in the morning. When she wasn’t with family, she was reading, listening to music, traveling. And when she was able: bowling and skating at Markham Roller Rink but let’s not forget she could cut up on the dance floor with a two- step and praise God on Sunday in song and worship.
Sandy enjoyed life and she showed it in her love for her family and friends. A person you can trust with your secrets, dreams, fears...because she cared for all. There’s an empty place in our hearts and maybe just for a minute it may feel a little lonely, but our memories of her smile and the fun times together will last forever. Rest on “QUEEN”.
