She is survived by her husband, Randy Nichols; her son, Randy Jr.; her daughter, Sammi; her granddaughter, Ryleigh; her mother, Jerrie Shearer; her sisters, Chris and Chan; and her nephews, John and Matthew. She and Randy would have been married 38 years this October 10.
S'Lena worked for many years as an executive assistant at Microsoft and Sysco.
She loved music, especially pop, and enjoyed playing the piano. She enjoyed being on the water and spending time with Randy sailing. She had a strong affection for animals, including dogs, cats, fish, and birds. She served as president of the Russian Wolfhound Association.
S'Lena was known in her neighborhood as "Ms. S'Lena" to the local children. She made cookies for them, bought them toys, and was known for her kindness. She enjoyed painting and had a deep appreciation for art and life.
