Susie Mena Garcia

Susie was born on July 20, 1949 in Rotan, Texas. Daughter of Victor Mena and Irene Sanchez.

She married Jose Luis Garcia on March 14, 1967 in Austin Texas. He Survives in Plano Texas.

A Spanish Rosary has been recited at Cook-Walden Funeral Home in Austin.

A visitation will be held on Friday May 9, 2014 from 4 to 9 pm at the Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano. A eulogy will be held at 7:00 pm followed by a Spanish rosary at 8:00 pm.

A visitation will also be held on Saturday morning May 10, 2014 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Ted Dickey Funeral Home in Plano prior to the funeral mass. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 10, 2014 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Wylie Texas at 1:00 pm.

Cremation Rites will be accorded following the services.

Survivors include: Gilbert Ray Garcia, Gregory Ray Garcia, Juan Javier Garcia, Mary Grace Garcia – Valadez, Jose Luis Garcia II, and Susie Danelle Garcia-Canela. 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Susie was preceded in death by Victor Mena (Father) and Josefa and Castulo Sanchez (Grandparents)

Church Affiliations are St. Mark Catholic Church and St. Anthony Catholic Church.
