We were privileged to know Tom.  We only  wish it had been for a longer time.  
It was always a pleasure to see his sweet smile at events where we all lived.  And the man did enjoy breakfast tacos!!
His love of family was evident.  Rebecca’s care of him was proof of the strong bond between them.
Our deepest sympathy to all Tom’s  family  and friends for the loss too soon of a good man.

Tom and me which I’m Gordon James grew up together as kids we played baseball football with Ricky Eric and Ricky and we all play football in a pastor or in the front yard or wherever we was at we share Christmas together as young kids play football in the front yard of Poppaw‘s Parker lawn it seemed big back down, but it was really a small yard now but we had fun. That’s all it counted. i’m sorry I couldn’t be there at the Survice at the funeral. We was out of town at the time. He was a great person that I knew was growing up. God bless you, Tom we all love you.

As a young single Mom with two children, I bought my first home. The very first neighbors I met were my backyard neighbors, Tom and Becky.  They were a striking couple – Becky was VERY pregnant with Austin and Tom already had his shocking stripe of white hair.  Becky and I could talk for hours on any subject.  Tom, on the other hand, was quiet and spoke with an almost timid southern drawl.  But he was smart!  And a problem solver.  I found out often that I needed the support of Tom getting me out of my own problems. I decided to paint a house gable that was only accessible from the garage roof.  It was a cool spring morning, so I climbed the ladder that leaned against the garage roof, barefoot carrying my bucket of paint supplies.  The minute I stepped off the ladder and onto the roof I knew I wouldn’t be able to retrace my steps backwards onto the ladder.  I was doomed.  I prayed that Tom Good would open his garage door and see me stuck on the roof. Other neighbors tried to help by holding the ladder, but I was frozen in fear.  Then came Tom! He just looked at me and with his devilish grin, said he would call the Fire Department.  I totally agreed – anything to get me off the now very hot asphalt roof of my garage.  But instead, Tom used his Operation Research engineering brain and quietly changed the direction of the ladder by 90 degrees leaning it against my house and said – step sideways onto the ladder.  Just a simple but brilliant solution to my problem.  That was Tom Good.  Never overbearing or loud, but always willing in his soft way to help. Tom was stoic and determined in his quiet way.  His way of handling his final years of life was, and is, a testament to that fact. My prayers are that God gives Becky, Nick and Jessica along with all their family the peace that passes understanding that only our Lord and Savior, Jesus can provide.

To my brother Thomas,
I will miss you greatly but have comfort in the fact that you are longer in pain and now with our Heavenly Father as well as many family members. I will hold on to many memories that I hold dearly to. Growing up as kids, playing football in the yard or the streets. The many car rides to school together that we may not have spoken much but enjoy listening to music from a 8 track. I remember times spent together with Becky and you as the two of you were dating and the first family dinner at your place after you married. I will never forget the zucchini pie that was served for dinner. We also spent 20 years working together at Raytheon and being able to stop by your office when I was frustrated knowing you were always a calming voice. Your love for family was always evident.
