Glynn Dupre lost his battle against cancer on January 26, 2026. He faced cancer with courage and determination from 2019 onward, never losing his love for people and the passions that defined his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Nancy, who remained his constant source of strength and devotion. He was a proud and devoted father to Savannah, whom he joined in eternal rest after her passing in 2017, and to Jacob, who blessed him with his cherished grandson, Ray Paul.
Glynn found joy in fast cars—especially his Camaro—and the freedom of riding his Harley. As a native of Louisiana, Cajun food was one of his greatest pleasures, with crawfish and crabs always at the top of the list. Glynn and his family moved to Florida in 1986 making weekends in Daytona Beach his favorite escape, a place where he felt most at peace. Glynn adored his loyal companion, JP, his beloved mini pinscher, who brought him comfort, loyalty, and unwavering companionship through every season of his journey.
He is also survived by his sister, Judy, and her husband, Abel; and Judy’s daughters—Apryl and her husband, Shane, and their son, Kale; and Tiffany and her husband, Jimmy, and their children, Landon and Kelsie. He is further survived by his brother, Earl Paul, his wife, Ann, and their son, Tylor; his sister in law, Paula Shears, and her husband, David, and their children, Lisa and Scot; and his brother in law, Doug Lefever.
He was preceded in death by his brothers in law, Bill Lefever and Tim Goon. Bill is survived by his two children, Chris and Patrick, with Patrick being the father of two children. Tim is survived by his three children—Christina Kay, Tori Rowe, and Tiffany Jones—each of whom is also blessed with two children.
