Ricky was born on April 9, 1959 in Plant City, FL to Johnny and Betty Ceto. In high school, Ricky excelled in athletics and writing and pursued both while attending Evangel College in Springfield, Missouri where he earned a B.A. in journalism.
Ricky loved all things outdoors and spent as much time as he could fishing and hunting with friends and family. He was also an excellent cook and host. His warm smile and kind words will be remembered forever by the people who were fortunate enough to know him. Ricky loved Jesus and spent much of his life praying, learning, teaching and singing for the glory of God. His family is very comforted knowing that he is at peace with his creator.
Johnny is survived by his parents, Johnny A. Ceto and Betty Ceto; his children, Johnny Ceto, Jr, Aaron Ceto, Matthew Ceto, Brieanna Ceto, Joseph Ceto and Levi Ceto, his sister Tammy Ceto Murray, his brother Mark Ceto and his grandchildren, Grace, Abram, Johnny James, Eli, Wyatt and Rosaleen.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th from 12pm to 1pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 1pm at Wells Memorial & Event Center, 1903 West Reynolds Street Plant City, FL 33563. Interment will follow at Seffner Cemetery.
