Joseph "Mack" Starling, 80, of Seffner, Florida entered into rest on Sunday, October 20, 2024 surrounded by his immediate family. He was born on November 8, 1943 in Williston, Florida to Ralph Starling and Lois Starling Consagra.
He graduated from Hillsborough High School. After graduating high school, he served in the Navy on the USS Kitty Hawk. He was the owner and operator of Star-Line Asphalt Maintenance. He was also a member of First Baptist Church Dover.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 ½ years, Latrelle Mikell Starling; son, Greg Starling (Kassy); daughter, Angel Brown (Derrick); grandchildren, Kelsey Lawson (Dustin), Reagan Brown (Lane), Cole Starling and daughter-in-law Libby Starling. He was blessed with a great granddaughter, Mabry Faye Lawson, and many other extended family members and friends.
A visitation will take place on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, 1903 W. Reynolds Street, Plant City, Florida 33563 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at First Baptist Church Dover, 3223 N. Gallagher Road, Dover, Florida 33527 at 10:00 a.m. and interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at 1:00 p.m.
