Nancy C. Shepherd

Wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother has completed her earthly journey, for God has spoken her name from heaven and called His good and faithful servant home to begin her eternal life’s journey and join those who have gone on before her. To be together forever.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Herman Jackson Shepherd, two sons Jerry and baby Shepherd, six brothers and one sister. She is survived by her daughter Jean Brinson and son-in-law Billy O’Neal Brinson, two sisters-in-law Marilyn Christmas and Coleta Christmas, brother-in-law Earl Shepherd and wife Harriet, grandchildren Kelly and Alan Andreu and Kevin and Marianne Brinson. Her pride and joy, her four great grandchildren Jordan, Riley, and Kenlee Andreu and Jackson O’Neal Brinson. They have kept her young at heart and given her great joy. They loved their “Nanny” as we all did. We do not say goodbye to “Nanny” today, but goodnight, for we will see you in the morning.

Life Celebration will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 with visitation from 2-3 PM and service at 3 PM at Wells Memorial Chapel with John Raulerson and Marc Mashburn officiating. Interment will follow at Mt Enon Cemetery.
