MURPHY JR., Robert "Murf" Edward, age 85, of Plant City, FL passed away on November 12, 2017. He was born in Scranton, PA and moved to Florida 28 years ago. He was a US Army veteran and retired from Consolidated Freightways.
Murf is preceded in death by his former wife, Shirley Ross; daughter, Kathy Schwartz; brother, Joseph Murphy; and sisters, Peggy Phillip and Mary Miller. Loving family who survive are his wife of 41 years, Alice Murphy; six sons, Bobby Murphy, Paul Murphy, Brian Murphy (Peggy), Timmy Murphy, Jeffrey Murphy, Todd Murphy; son-in-law, Charles Schwartz; three daughters, Barbara Murphy, Susie Murphy, Chrissy DeVoe (Rocky); brother, Francis Murphy; two sisters, Patricia Kalewski, Claire Reap; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
