She is predeceased by first husband, Melvin B. VanSant and second husband, Gerald R. Demarest. Loving family who survive are daughters: Shirley R. Moore (Joseph) of Plant City, FL and Linda D. Mendell (John) of Vero Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren: Michael Moore, Scott Moore (Wanda), Melissa Dearing (Mark), John Mendell (Mara), Tracy Koller, Brian Mendell (Sara), Scott Mendell; and 12 great grandchildren: Abigail, Joseph, Kylie, Christopher, Kiersten, Jack, Whitney, Madeleine, Daniel, Johnny, Scotty, and Lillian.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Aqua Team at Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lifepath Hospice.
A funeral service will be Saturday, April 18, 2015, 11am at Wells Memorial. Visitation will begin at 10am. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, FL.
