Val Ray Batts age 49, a resident of Plant City, passed away on March 9, 2011. Born in Sanford, Florida and moved here 20 years ago from Titusville, Florida. Val was a veteran in the U.S. Marines, and of Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Batts, three sons, Thomas, Christopher and Steven Baynard. Daughters: Brittney, Hailey and Heather Batts. Brother; Terrance Bruce Batts of Bay City, TX, and four grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Wells Memorial Chapel. Funeral services to follow at 5:00 p.m.
