Van and Victor faced the loss of their father on March 27, 1991, and the passing of their brother James Melvin on April 13, 1954. Gary Leon Davis on June 17, 1983. Despite the challenges, their mother, Zelma, raised them with unwavering love, strength, faith, and discipline until her passing in 1998.
