It is with great sadness that the family of Adelfa Lydia Serna, lovingly known to her friends and family as Fita, announces her passing on January 30, 2025.
Fita passed away peacefully, surrounded by the caring staff at Maple Grove Care Home in Brampton, Ontario.
Fita, Grandmaman, Mummy, and Ma, will be deeply missed by her daughter Lisa (Sam), sons Charles Scott, PJ (Rena), and her beloved grandchildren: Archie, Harrison, Georgia Marie, Alexa, and Nikolas. She will also be fondly remembered by her family and loved ones in Texas.
Fita was always the centre of attention and the life of the party, her love for her family, her faith in God, and her passion for playing “Salade” (cards) will forever remain in our hearts.
Fita will make her way back to her home town in Pierrefonds where her life celebrations will be held on February 18th at St Luke’s Church 106A Ave. Anselme Lavigne Dollard Des Ormeaux all are welcome to attend. Condolences will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
