Adolfo Sastron will be remembered by all who knew him as a gentleman and kind soul. His sudden passing on December 30, 2021 one week after his 55th birthday has left a hole in the hearts of those closest to him and those who he leaves behind.
He is survived by his parents Maria Luisa (Anoro) and Adolfo Sastron senior who he loved dearly; his sister Elena who was his friend and his rock; his children Amaya and Iñaki who will honour him by continuing to make him proud with each day they learn to fly on their own; and his wife Raquel Navarrete, his soulmate and love of his life with whom he created 30 years of beautiful memories.
Adolfo was endearing and loved by everyone who got to know him. He is mourned by so many friends and family, near and far, who feel blessed to have had him in their lives.
He will be remembered affectionately for the special person that he was. Whether it was his smile, his laugh, his gestures, his generosity or the way he could not get certain words straight, each person has their treasured ‘Adolfo story’. Telling these stories will keep him close to his family and friends.
We are all better for having met him, for having known him and for having loved him. Rest in peace Adolfo, you will be forever missed.
Due to current restrictions, a very small service for immediate family members will be held at Résidence funéraires Collins Clarke MacGillivray White on January 14, 2022 at 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's society or Make-A-Wish foundation, two organizations close to Adolfo's heart.
