Anna (Takacs) Kolos

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Anna (Takacs) Kolos in her 82nd year. Anna passed away peacefully on May 4th 2021 with family by her side. Beloved wife and soulmate of 58 years to Mathias Kolos, Anna will be sadly missed by her children Thomas and Ingrid (Dean), as well as her grandchildren Brandon and Dylan.

Anna was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Flora Takacs. She is survived by her siblings Madeleine (Agnes, Elise), Rosette (Ferenc, Frederic, Christophe) and Jean (Michelle, Christelle) who will greatly miss her. She will also be missed by her extended family, nieces, nephews and friends.

Anna took care of her family right up to her very last day. We were fortunate to have such a humble, loving, caring matriarch in our lives. To be around Anna you knew you counted and would be taken care of. Whether it was through her long conversations on the phone with her daughter Ingrid and sister Rosette, Anna always captured your attention. Anna would spoil her two grand-son’s Brandon and Dylan with praises, love, admiration and gifts. Anna was her son Thomas’ confident, in her he intrusted anything and everything that was occurring in his life.

Finally her husband… Anna and Mathias were each other’s soulmates. Seeing that they both immigrated from Europe, they only had each other. They both travelled the world together, built a house and home together, created a family together and kept each other company every single day.

Anna will be greatly missed. She will be looking down on us from heaven. We can no longer see you with our eyes or touch you with our hands, but we will feel you in our hearts forever.
