Anthony Stanton, born in England April 5, 1932, passed peacefully away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Pointe Claire Quebec.

Anthony leaves behind his beloved and devoted wife Helga Kohler. Anthony was predeceased by his first wife Jean Cranswick. Left with fond and loving memories are his family in England: John(Gaye), Peter (Wendy), and daughter Helen. Grandfather to Marc, Laura, Kerry, James, David, Kirsty and Callum.

Anthony was a special person in the lives of Thomas Zwirz(Renee) and Christine Zwirz(Gino) and will forever remain as “grandad” to Andrew, Gabriella, Carter and Tyler.

His career in the aircraft industry spanned four decades and led him to travelling and living in Seattle and Atlanta, before moving to Canada. Anthony worked with Bombardier until he took his retirement.

He was an avid and talented bridge player and he loved a good book, suduko and crossword puzzles. He was fortunate to be able to continue travelling to see family and the world until just a few years ago.

Due to the constraints surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, a service to honour Anthony’s memory will be held at a future date.

Memorial donation may be made to Christ the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
