Betty passed away at the Lachine General Hospital following a short illness. She had been cared for in recent years by her son Michael in Dorval. Betty will be greatly missed by her 3 children, Michael, Jane and Stewart; grandchildren, Duncan and Erin; sister Marjorie Waddell, brother Thomas Stee, sister-in-law Shahla Stee, and brother-in-law Don Kopf. We will remember her for her love and devotion to her family, and for all of the wonderful memories, including her exceptional baking, that she gave us. The family will be holding a small private memorial service for Betty at the Field of Honour in Pointe Claire, wherein she will be interred with her husband Duncan Patrick McLaughlin, who passed away on May 18, 2010.
