Born in Montreal on September 6, 1940, Carol was the beloved wife of Ray Anderson for 62 years. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter, and always put family first. She was a cherished mother to her daughters, Debbie and Kelly, and a proud and loving grandmother to Samantha (Josh), Matthew, and Brian (Kayla) Duford.
Carol took great pride in her Irish heritage and spent many hours researching and documenting her family tree. A creative soul, she loved needlework and a wide range of artistic pursuits in her younger years. She was a thoughtful and curious mind—always engaged with current events and never far from a crossword puzzle or jigsaw. Above all, Carol loved and cared for her family, and her feisty spirit will be dearly missed.
As per her wishes, Carol will be cremated and laid to rest at Cote-des-Neiges Cemetery. She requested no formal funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation, in gratitude for the compassionate and dedicated care provided by the staff on 4 South. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone at LGH who supported them through this difficult time, in particular Drs. Arentsen and Sevryugin.

Don’t cry for me, for I am at peace, in the arms of those who have gone before me. I have been welcomed to heaven and dance with the angels.
Think of me fondly, as I loved you all very much. Always.
