

Passed away peacefully on August 10 at Lakeshore General Hospital. Born in Montreal of French immigrant parents, Charles graduated BEng 1943 and MEng 1970 from McGill University. He was a Lieutenant in the Canadian Armed Forces, 1943. He had an illustrious career with DuPont of Canada and retired from Asbestos Corp. Charles is survived by his sister Suzanne, stepson Tom Henderson (Yvonne), sons Chuck (Lindsay), Richard (Caroline), Philippe (Sabina), daughters Louise, Claire, and Denise (Len), and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren. His wife Helen passed away in 1999. He loved and missed her until the day he died. Hopefully they have been reunited. You will be sadly missed. All the morning conversations over strong French coffee and croissants over the years will be fondly remembered. Visitation will be at Collins Clarke Macgillivray White Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe Claire, QC H9S 3X6 on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., followed by a service and then a reception to which family and friends are welcome.
