I am so sorry for your grief of the passing of Ted. He was such a wonderful man. He loved his family so much especially his precious daughter Kerry. He was so proud of you. You were are number one topic of conversation. You brought him so much joy. I thank God he had you in his life. You made his life worthwhile and meaningful. Danielle.

We were sorry to hear that your father, father-in-law, grandfather and brother has past from this life. By all those titles it's clear that his presence far exceeded the one man. Be assured that he is not now, nor will ever be gone from you all. Each of you will in your own ways be reminded of him when you least expect it and realize that he will always be with you. 
When you're all gathered together, look around at each other and realize that for all his accomplishments, those you see and whomever each of you may be, you are...you all are...his greatest gift to each other. Maybe you'll remember him when you share his favorite meal, or sit in the spot in the shade that he enjoyed the most in the summer, or sit in the chair that he liked or worked on projects with you for school.

After Ted passed away, you'll find yourself looking up into the sky and thinking, as you might, how peaceful it must be for them and that the number of angels has increased by one. Eventually you will enjoy the thoughts of the days in the past that you spent together, but for now be happy for him in his peace and be thankful for the company of those around you. 

Both Judy and I regret the distance that separates us at times like these.

Grandpa Ted.  What a wonderful man, father and grandfather.  He raised an exceptional daughter who is a wonderful mother, wife and physician.  We will miss him very much.  I look forward to sharing with Andrew and Ethan the wonderful memories of their grandfather.

I am happy we always remained cherished friends.

My dad inspired me to pursue my dreams of becoming a physician. I am fortunate enough to have made it in to hold his hand as he passed. Grandpa Ted loved playing trains with my kids on his wheelchair tray. He had a long journey following his initial diagnosis over 30 years ago, but we have had so many cherished memories and we were fortunate for the time we had with him. I hope he is having a good cup of hot coffee.
