Beloved husband of Jean Crombie, having just celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary. Cherished father of Elaine, Neil (Suniti), Carole (Andy), and Chris (Karen). Devoted grandfather of Ryan, Sean, Caitlin, Emily and David. He will also be deeply missed by his sister June, as well as nieces and nephews in B.C. and good friends in the community. Fred was a remarkable man and lived his life to the fullest. He was dedicated to his family and his friends. He took on several leadership roles in community activities including square dancing, the West Island prostate cancer support group and tax preparations for Dorval seniors which he did for decades.
Of special mention was Fred being awarded the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers in 2017, which says so very much about the special man he was.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2pm to 3pm, at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire Qc, H9S 3X6.
