It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gerry Mastro on May 10th at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband Dominic, her son Bobby, and her daughter Nancy (Aurèle Baril), she will be greatly missed by her daughter Marlene Mastro Menzies, her grandchildren Dominique Mastro-Baril (Stephan Flam), Julia Menzies (John Markin), Angela Mastro-Baril (Steven Cameron), Robert Menzies (Marlo Turner Ritchie), Samantha Menzies (Jeremiah Bain), and her two adored great-grandchildren, Zachary and Isla.
Gerry was always extremely devoted to her family, and will be remembered for her love of cooking gourmet meals, her sense of style, and her very caring nature.
Many thanks to the staff at the Verdun Hospital for their care and compassion, and to everyone at The Wellesley Residence, Pointe-Claire, who became her second family during these past 9½ years.
Funeral to be held on Tuesday, June 7th at Église St-Joachim, 2 ave Ste- Anne, Pointe-Claire, Quebec H9S 4P5. Visitations at the church at 12pm, mass at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dans la Rue, the Canadian Red Cross, or Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
