It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim at 62. Loving husband of Terry (Forman) Bird, father of Jennifer (Shawn) Palin and Tom Bird and beloved “Papa Bird” to Gaby and Sylas Palin. He is survived by his brother Bill (Lorraine) Bird of Vancouver and brother-in-law Alan (Margaret) Forman of Vancouver. A dedicated father, Jim coached softball in Beaconsfield/Kirkland for 20 years and inspired others with his positive attitude. Visitation: 1 PM, Tuesday, July 29 at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home followed by a celebration of his life in the chapel at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence would be appreciated.
