It is with great sadness that we announce that Joan passed away after a short illness on January 1, 2022, 12 days shy of her 90th birthday. She was predeceased by her loving husband, James Wolfenden (2009) and her four siblings, Violet, Walter, Shirley and Jackie.
Cherished mother of Gail (Terry Badour), Maureen, Bill (Dianne Staruch) and Steve (Patsy Hughes) and loving grandmother of eight grandchildren, Catherine (Stan), David (Martha), and Michael (Alexandra) Badour, James (Cecilia), Kevin and Thomas Wolfenden, Zoe and Nicole Wolfenden.
She was also the proud great-grandmother of 6 with the 7th due any day. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by her good friend Pearl Maddiss as well as many others at Manoir Kirkland where she happily resided for the last fourteen years.
A Celebration of Life is planned for the Spring.
Donations in her memory may be sent to the Cancer Research Society.
