John passed away peacefully in his 94th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Doreen. Cherished father of the late Gary, Nancy (Gary Houghton) and Shirley (Bob Woolward). Adored Grandpa of Kurt (Karina), Lauren (Gerry), Jackie (Derek), Brett and Dana. He was the proud Great Grandpa of Kahlo, Darcy and Reid. Our Dad was the ultimate gentleman and his kindness and humour will be missed by his nieces, nephews, friends and family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, from 2 to 4 pm. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jewish General Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Special thanks to the extraordinary staff and volunteers at the Veterans Hospital who cared for our Dad with love and compassion.
