Klaus was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jacqueline, after 56 years of marriage. Son of Erich Sopora and Magdalena Kutzias.
He gave so much of himself, unconditionally, to those around him. Whether his family, clients or colleagues during his long career in Life Insurance and Financial Planning. He was someone who you could not help but admire and respect. What an honour to have had him as a father. He will be missed beyond measure and thought of often, by those who loved him.
Klaus is survived by his children; Martha (Craig), Christine (John), and Eric; his grand-children: late Owen, Griffin, Emma, late Robin, Logan and Sarah, as well as all his extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Centre d'hébergement Denis-Benjamin-Viger for their wonderful care, support and compassion.
As per his wishes, there will be a small service for his immediate family with web access for extended family and friends on March 18th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Collins-Clarke-Macgillivray-White-funeral-homes in Pointe-Claire.
