Lise Kane

Née à la ville de Québec en 1941, de Rita Chamberland et de Jack Kane, et première de quatre enfants, Lise a grandi dans une famille qui incarnait l’amour et la dualité linguistique canadienne. En tant que jeune adulte, Lise a poursuivi une carrière comme hôtesse de l’air pour Air Canada et elle a épousé André Costin en 1967. Par la suite, Lise s’est consacrée avec André à élever sa famille, qu’elle aimait de tout son cœur. Prédécédée de sa fille, Jocelyne, elle laisse dans le deuil, son époux André, son fils Pierre, ses sœurs Irène et Lauretta, son frère Daniel, son beau-frère Denis Martel, et les nombreux amis qu’elle s’est fait durant sa vie. Vendredi, le 20 septembre 2024, il y aura une messe funéraire pour Lise à l’église Saint-Joachim, Pointe-Claire, à 10h du matin, précédée à partir de 9h par les échanges de condoléances à l’église, et suivi à 11h par l’enterrement de ces cendres au Cimetière Saint-Joachim, et en même temps, par une rencontre à l’édifice Noël Legault pour célébrer sa vie (voir l’agenda qui suit cet Avis). 11h à 14h : Célébration de la vie de Lise Kane, avec léger repas à 500 m de l’église dans la grande salle au 2ième étage de l’édifice :

Born in Quebec City in 1941, to Rita Chamberland and Jack Kane, as the first of four children, Lise grew up in a family that embodied love and Canadian bilingualism. As a young adult, Lise pursued a career as a flight attendant for Air Canada and married André Costin in 1967. Afterwards, Lise dedicated herself with André to raising her family, whom she loved with all her heart. Predeceased by her daughter Jocelyne, she is mourned by her husband André, her son Pierre, her sisters Irène and Lauretta, her brother Daniel, her brother-in-law Denis Martel, and the many friends she made throughout her life. On Friday, September 20, 2024, there will be a funeral mass for Lise at St. Joachim Church, Pointe-Claire, at 10:00 AM, preceded by condolences at the church starting at 9:00 AM, and followed at 11:00 AM by the burial of her ashes at St. Joachim Cemetery. At the same time, there will be a gathering at the Noël Legault Building to celebrate her life (see the agenda following this notice). 11am to 11:30 am: For those who wish to attend the burial ceremony, the urn containing Lise’s ashes will be buried at the Saint-Joachim Cemetery, 3km from the Church at the following address:

11am to 2 pm: Celebration of Lise’s life, with a light lunch served at some 500m from the Church in the Large Hall on the 2nd Floor of the following building:

2 pm: End of the funeral services.
