Marie Buote Gravel

Marie will be sorely missed by her daughters Kerry and Melanie Brady, her granddaughter Katie Grogan and her “favorite” son-in-law Casey Grogan. As well as her siblings Dorothy Horbachewsky, Francis Hector Buote, Lorraine Stoppard, Margaret Kelly, Nancy Wilkes (Joe) and Bernice Garrett (Jim) and many cherished nieces and nephews.

Marie will also be fondly remembered by her step-children Suzanne, Lorraine & Richard Gravel along with her step-granddaughters Angela & Tania Linares, Danielle, Stephanie and Renée D’Souza.

Marie is predeceased by her parents Eva and Hector Buote and her husbands Michael Brady and Joseph Gravel.

Marie will be remembered for her passion for helping others whether through volunteer efforts or simply helping a friend. Marie spent several years volunteering at St. Andrew’s Residential Center in NDG as well as the various churches she attended over the years.

A mass will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Church (shared with St. John United Church), 98 Aurora Ave., Pointe Claire on Wednesday, July 19 at 1:30 PM. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the church at 1PM to share memories and condolences prior to the mass. A small reception will follow at the church. Burial will take place at a later date in Tignish, PEI.
