It is with great sorrow that the family announces the untimely death of Michael. He is survived by his loving wife, Hilda (Curley) of 42 years and the proud father of Janice (Claude) and Christopher, predeceased by his son Daniel and survived by his sister Connie (Rob). Michael leaves behind his sisters-in-law Joan (John), Shirley (deceased), Diane, Sharon (Mike), brothers-in-law Norman and Bobby (Suzanne), many cousins, cherished friends and co- workers. Michael was born in Oakville, Ontario, son of Vincent (deceased) and Carmen (Malorni) (deceased).
Michael and Janice enjoyed each other's company and chatted about everything. He was so proud of all Janice's achievements and the same commitment she has to her work. She always loved to make something special for Michael, whether it was a specially designed piece of pottery or an exquisite meal she often cooked for him. Michael always took time to help her when she needed him for any advice. They also shared a love for "hound dogs" especially the "spotted" kind. He was so happy that Christopher worked with him and is following in his huge footsteps. Christopher was certainly taught by the best teacher. Michael loved going to Christopher's hockey games and enjoyed managing his teams for a few years. Later on, he was often the only one in the arena watching him play with the old timers. Michael was also Christopher's best friend. Michael was so devoted to Hilda and did everything to make her happy. She could not have been loved more. She will certainly miss him telling her every day how much he loved her and when he wasn't at home, she would find a note somewhere telling her so.
Michael was talented, creative and gifted in design and home craftsmanship. He was the eternal perfectionist in everything he did. He also loved to hit the open road on his Harley and travelling with Hilda. Michael was loved by all as he was a generous and thoughtful person. He gave his heart to all and asked nothing in return. Michael never met a person who did not count on him as a cherished friend. He is remembered as the consummate jokester by his many friends and extended family at work, play and home. He was at home with everyone from every walk of life and it seemed only natural for him to be in his favourite work boots and jeans or his most elegant suit and cowboy's boots.
