After her many devoted years to the special children of WIAIH, Rollande volunteered in my classroom at the Pat Roberts Developmental Centre for almost two years. I thoroughly enough her kindness, expertise and her dynamic energy. The staff at our centre will miss her greatly. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Je viens tout juste d'apprendre le décès de Rollande et, comme tous ceux qui l'ont côtoyée, je garde le souvenir d'une personne dévouée et chaleureuse qui a toujours donné son maximum dans tout ce qu'elle a entrepris. Mes pensées et mes prières je joignent à celles de Léo, Robert et tous les membres de sa famille.

Rollande was our first link to the special needs world and she indeed made a world of difference...Her commitment, patience, energy and creativity were outstanding and everyone felt special around her...She will be missed and remembered by many...La communauté s'ennuie déjà de toi Rollande...

J'ai eu le privilège de travailler avec Rollande pendant 4 ans. Elle était complètement dévouée à nos petits enfants. Merci Rollande d'avoir était un bon coach pour moi. Je suis content d'avoir eu l'oppurtunité de te revoir la semaine dernière. Je suis vraiment triste, mais je suis certain que tu as vécu exactement comme tu l'auras voulu. My deapest sympathies to Rollande's family.
I had the privilege of working with Rollande at WIAIH. What an incredible women she was, Rollande devoted so much of her life helping children with special needs. She was and will remain to be so well respected in the community! 
Rest in peace my dear Rollande, u will be missed!

Rollande was loved for her determination both in life and in her work.  She lived by a code, by a set of strong human values that set the bar very high for those who lived and worked with her.  She touched many lives, not just those of the children and families she worked with but also those of her colleagues for whom she served as a great role model. Very generous in nature, it was her feisty attitude that will be remembered.

I would like to express my deepest sympathies to the family.

I have such wonderful childhood memories of spending time at Poochie's house....amazing parties and many many hours swimming in the pool. She was such an amazingly warm person and a very special person in our lives. She is already missed dearly.

Poochie was such huge part of our family... so many wonderful memories of Chistmases at your place, barbecues by your pool, trips to Ogunquit, etc.. She was a great lady who will be dearly missed, fondly remembered and always loved.

Sincere sympathy to all of Rollande's family.  I remember Rollande when she started to work for WIAIH many years ago when my son, Russell, was a toddler.  She was a real Godsend and gave me much needed direction at a time when there wasn't much available.  Always smiling, patient, willing to help and giving good advice.  She loved the children and, indeed, they were all very special to her. She did much, not only for them but also for the parents. Whenever I saw her she would greet me with a beaming face making it seem as though she had just been waiting for me to show up! 

What a blessing to have known such a special person.  God bless.

I remember how lovingly Rollande shared her home every June, with families and staff members to celebrate the accomplishments of the many children that she and her colleauges had nurtured. The families that gathered spoke so highly of Rollande. I had the privilege of working with Rollande and know what an incredible advocate she was for children with special needs. She truly was an inspiration and blessing to everyone whose lives she touched. She will be sorely missed.God bless.

I worked with Rollande at WIAIH for many years.  She was a tireless advocate for parents and a skilled educator for the countless children who attended our preschool over the 30 years she worked with us.  Rollande was a champion and will be sorely missed.

We had the opportunity many years ago of having Rollande work with our son and I'm so sad to hear of her passing.  She was a champion for our children and her legacy will live on in the support she provided not only to the children, but to the parents.  May she rest in peace and her family be comforted knowing she touched the lives of so many.
