She was the beloved wife of Arnold McColgan (deceased), loving mother of Dan, Scott, Erin (deceased), Laurie Moore (Toronto) and Michael McColgan (Monique), cherished Granny of Gillian, Jaime, Cameron, Taylor, James and Alexandra and devoted sister to Holly (deceased).
Shirley was a graduate of nursing from the University of Ottawa and worked for many years at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Throughout her life, Shirley was an active volunteer within the community. She was an avid quilter, loved reading, and making memories with family and friends.
Many thanks to the kind and caring staff from the CLSC Palliative Care Team, NOVA West Island and the West Island Palliative Care Residence. Special acknowledgement of the support provided by the home care workers.

Visitation will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe Claire on Friday Aug 21, 2020 - 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Covid guidelines are in place to provide for everyone’s safety.
A private funeral mass in celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at Saint John Fisher Church on August 22, 2020 at 11am. The funeral service will be live streamed on the Saint John Fisher Parish Youtube channel (https://bit.ly/SMcColgan).
