William Wilson

Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 90 on June 9th, 2022. He has gone home to join the love of his life of 64 years, Dolores (nee McMullan). Bill was the proud father of the late Lyn (Kevin), Debbie (Chris), Laurie (Gordon), Dolores, Honor (Ewan), Heather (Rob) and Andrea (Reid). He is survived by his 19 grandchildren and soon to be 12 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, William (Bill) and Cecile and by his sisters Carlina, Audrey and brother Arthur. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Bill was the anchor; the heart and soul of his large family. Supported by his strong faith in the Lord, he divided his tireless energy between family, career and community and charity work. While spending his entire working life growing his commercial insulation business Bill was also extremely generous with his volunteer efforts, working tirelessly as a director and/or president of many industry associations and charitable organizations to make Montreal a stronger business community and, most importantly, a more caring and livable community.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15th @ 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray

White Funeral Home, 222, Autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, QC. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 16th at Saint Edmund of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church, 105 Beaconsfield Blvd. Beaconsfield, QC.
