Albert Casagrande

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Albert Casagrande, age 90, of Pompano Beach, Florida, who died peacefully at home on June 14, 2025, with his cherished wife and best friend, Eileen (nee McBride), at his side.

Born on November 22, 1934, in Italy, Albert was the son of the late Donato and Asunta Casagrande. He is survived by his beloved brother, Carlo, .and was predeceased by his beloved brothers, Pasquale and Jack). When he immigrated to the United States, he settled first in New York and then Florida. He was predeceased by his first wife, Della Rose, and their sons, Daniel and Albert, to whom Al was a devoted husband and father.

Holding a special place in their hearts, Al was devoted to many nieces and nephews, "Uncle Al, the kindest Pal" ~ AnnMarie, Lisa, Gina, Dawn, Diane (deceased), Nicky, JJ, and Sarah. He was a beloved uncle to many great nieces and nephews.

Always honoring his Italian heritage, Al embraced life in America. With an indomitable work ethic, he had begun working in his youth with his father in the sanitation industry, retiring as President of the Company. Rich with a multitude of interests, Al was an avid golfer with 3 hole-in-ones, had a talent for card playing as well as slot machines, and adored travel, especially returning to Italy, to his hometown, for the feast of the Madonna, (Monte San Giovanni Campana).

Blessed with a generous nature and beautiful soul, Al will be forever missed and never forgotten. Albert Casagrande will be remembered for his unbounded love and devotion to his treasured Eileen, his family and friends, and his God.

A visitation will be held at Kraeer Funeral Home, located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, on June 17, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church, situated at 380 Federal Hwy, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441, on June 18, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.

The committal service will be conducted at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, located at 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, on June 18, 2025, from 11:30 am to 11:45 am.
