

Assimina Roussonicolos, a faithful, devoted, and gentle soul, passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on February 10, 1936, in Zakynthos, Greece, she was the cherished daughter of Phillip and Kalliopi (Touriki) Pylarimos. Assimina was a resident of Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Throughout her life, Assimina was a devoted follower of Jesus. She found immense joy in teaching others about her faith and was frequently involved in church activities and hosting Bible studies. Her passion for her beliefs was a defining aspect of her life.
Assimina was also a skilled hairdresser, having established her own salon, which became the cornerstone of her new life in America. She embodied the American dream after immigrating from Greece, and she was immensely proud of her heritage. Her love for cooking, especially Greek cuisine, was well-known among her family and friends.
She is survived by her son and daughter, who hold her memory dear.
A visitation will be held on June 20, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Kraeer Funeral Home, located at 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, FL 33064. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at the same location. The graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens North, 200 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064, from 2:00 pm to 2:15 pm.
Assimina will be remembered fondly for her gentle spirit, her devotion to her faith, and her love for her family and heritage.
