Betty K. Petrie a local resident for more than 60 years died peacefully 01/17/2013. Betty was an avid tennis player and played into her 80's. She also loved to play cards. She and her beloved deceased husband, Carl Petrie were members of Coral Ridge Yacht Club for 53 years. Betty cherished her family who will miss her but will honor and celebrate her wonderful life. A memorial will be held on 01/21/2013 at 10:30 am in the auditorium at John Knox Village. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Macular Degeneration Research.
