Carol Ann Lahr

Carol Ann Lahr, 71 of Pompano Beach, Fl entered into Heaven on July 17th, 2011. She was born in Union City, NJ and moved to FL in 1973. She was a radiant light and a gift to all her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Frank Higgins. She is predeceased by her first husband Charlie and is survived by their children, Linda (Mike) Bowman, Carol (Ian) Humphrey, and son Charles Lahr. She is survived by her brother Joseph (Susan) Iacobucci. She is survived by her three grandchildren; Samantha, Alexandria and Reece Humphrey. She fought valiantly against brain cancer and her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that loved her deeply. Carol left us with a rich legacy of love, laughter and caring. We will honor her by carrying her legacy with us always. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society in Carol Lahr's honor would be appreciated. The family will receive guests for a visitation at the funeral home on Friday, July 22nd from 2:00-4:00pm & 6:30-8:30pm. Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00am on Saturday, July 23rd St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 731 N. Ocean Blvd. (A1A), Pompano Beach, FL 33062.
