Eileen was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 3, 1935. She graduated from Erasmus Hall High school and continued on to receive an associates of arts degree and an associates of science degree from the Florida State College in Jacksonville, Florida.
Eileen moved to Jacksonville in 1957 where she raised her family and worked for many years in the securities industry and later in the retail industry. Eileen moved to Pompano Beach, Florida in 2000, where she was involved in the Red Hat Society and was an active member of her Palm Aire community where she enjoyed her community pool and playing Canasta and Mah Jongg with her friends.
Eileen is survived by her four children, Jeffrey (Lisa), Russell (Kristin), Alisa Pate, and Marci Talisman, as well as her four grandchildren, Kyle, Erin, Jenna, and Evan, and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Eileen is preceded in death by her sister, Thelma Klein, and her brother, Larry Panitz.
Due to the unprecedented global events surrounding the Covid-19 Pandemic, a celebration of life will be held in Jacksonville, Florida at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to a charity of your choosing.
